Hearing and spotting caches under pressure

A lot of players waste time scanning with their eyes only. Don't. In hurricane weather, vision lies. You'll look right at a stash and miss it because the contrast is gone. Instead, stop for two seconds behind cover, let the wind wash over you, and listen for the beep pattern. Then move in short bursts, checking angles like you're clearing a room. These special caches aren't the same profile as a regular Raider Cache; they sit a bit higher and look more reinforced. When you find one, loot fast and reset your position—storms pull you into lazy routes, and that's when other Raiders catch you out.

If you want profit per hour, Blue Gate is the bully. The spawn pool is huge—around a hundred possible points—so you're rarely "done" with the map. Backups: Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport

When Blue Gate isn't in rotation, Dam Battlegrounds is the next best bet with over seventy spawns and a mix of open lanes and cluttered loot pockets. I usually go 1) West Broken Ridge, 2) Power Generation Complex, and 3) The Dam, then branch out to Red Lakes and Water Treatment if the area feels quiet. Electrical Substation, Old Battleground, and Pale Apartments can be great, but only if you're not dragging your feet. Spaceport is a decent third choice with roughly sixty spawns; it's more spread out, so you can sprint clean lines between East Plains, La Chiesa, and Fuel Processing, then do a quick pass on Water Towers and Alberi Hills before you bail.

Low-density maps and storm survival habits

Buried City is the one I avoid when I'm serious—about thirty spawns and it just turns into a grind. If you're stuck there, hit The Outskirts, the Hospital, and Buried Properties first, then roll the dice on Church Ruins, the Abandoned Highway Camp, Grandioso Apartments, and the Warehouse. Whatever the map, remember the storms follow a fixed 24-hour rotation, swapping to a different outdoor zone every hour, so build a kit that survives the full timer. Adrenaline Shots aren't optional because wind chews stamina, and a light loadout keeps you alive when you've got to relocate. I always carry a couple Hatch Keys for a clean exit, and I put points into One Raider's Scraps since the extra field-crafted pull stacks up—especially if you're topping off your stash with cheap ARC Raiders Items when the rotation lines up just right.
